It’s hard to believe that 20 years ago today, we were behind the freshly stained counter in our NW tea shop (playing music by Iron & Wine and Elliot Smith) while serving people tea and bubble tea for the first time. We’ll never forget the joy in the eyes of customers when they found out we served our tea in mugs and teapots (with cute little candle warmers), in a place where they could just cozy up on our couch with others and enjoy their time at ease. We have had people grow up in our shops (customers and even employees) and to watch them all become adults and go on to live their lives has been a truly rewarding experience for us. We are so grateful for all the memories we have shared with others in the tea shops- so many friendships, romances and lifelong connections have been made that we’ll cherish forever.
When we started, we wanted to create a place for others that would be loved and appreciated and we thank all of you for helping us accomplish that. To be making great tasting teas this long for everyone has been a dream and we hope as we venture into creating new tea products that we can help others fulfill their dreams too. Thank you for all the support and honesty with us all these years- our teas taste amazing not only because our incredible staff has worked hard to maintain consistency, but because you all have cared enough to share with us when we miss the mark. The best part about creating this company has been the compassion we have been able to give and receive - so thank you for all the tea love & connection!
