Kashmiri Chai No. 37 - Organic

Sometimes rules are meant to be broken. So while Kashmiri Chai - also dubbed “Noon Chai” or “Pink Chai” - is made with a green tea base and is pink in color, we crafted ours with a black tea base. We then added cardamom, peppermint, nutmeg, and tellicherry pepper that give it a bit more spice than our Masala Chai. A house favorite in our tea shops in Portland. Caffeinated.

Our organic Kashmiri Chai Masala Chai and Organic Masala Chai are our two most popular “traditional” chai blends. The Kashmiri Chai has a bit more spice and is a bit more astringent than the Masala, nor is it sweet or quite as smooth. One think you’ll notice is that there is a peppermint aroma which makes this tea stand out.

How to Steep Kashmiri Chai Tea

  • 2 tsp Kashmiri Chai Loose Tea
  • 8 oz* of water or 4 oz water and 4 oz milk
  • 205-212°F - Near boiling to boiling
  • Steep for 6 minutes
