What started out as a class project in college has evolved over the years to become what many customers refer to as their second home. Tea Chai Té has been serving tea in Portland since December 2003 and has grown in leaps and bounds both in the products we offer and the friendly community of people who cherish it. Tea Chai Té has over 100 high quality teas, giving our customers the best and largest selection of tea in Portland in the most casual, relaxing and inviting setting. We have an outdoor balcony with a great view of NW 23rd and the West Hills, and we also have free WIFI.

We also have the largest selection of organic, fair trade teas in the Northwest because not only do we care about providing the public with health conscious & eco-friendly tea, we also care about working with companies around the globe who make their workers needs a priority as well.

We happily make all our teas from scratch, including our bubble teas and chai blends, giving our customers complete freedom to have their drink made the way they like it.

A new drink we’ve been offering this year is our house brewed Kombucha. Using the different teas we sell, from our Lychee Oolong to Strawberry Sencha, our Kombucha is all natural and full of lots of great nutrients. Finally, I have to mention our Tea Baby. Dimitri was born on April 6th, 2007 and is not only the chai in our eyes, but a great joy to everyone who comes into our tea bar. If you happen to see our smiling little ray of sunshine, feel free to give him a hug and a smile back.
